Here we go again- we’re doing another cross-country pico balloon race! Here are the details-
- It will be occurring in October, 2020, over the course of 4 weeks
- All “racers” will be flying “mid-altitude” (between 25,000 ft and 40,000 feet)
- Your launch date will be based on what type of balloon/ goal, but will be on a Monday (either the 5th, 12th, 19th, or 26th)
- You will need to have a ham radio license, as we will be tracking with APRS. If you are interested in participating, but do not have a ham license, let Joanne Michael know in the form, and we will do our best to link you up with a local radio club.
